Is this wrong to say?

So I was looking at college dance teams because I was interested in going out for one. I looked at LSU team and it says that all girls have to be between 5'0 and 5'11 and can't be more then 145 lbs. I saw this on the tryouts page. Not this effects me, I'm 5'10 and 126 lbs. But isn't it kinda wrong to say that?
