I am constructing a house.Roof is concrete,and the part which is outside the wall is made slanting?

for a slanted concrete roof jutting outside the wall(about 1 metre),which is the best way to support it apart from pillars?I was thinking in terms of having vertical triangular concrete slabs to supprt it at regular distance..any other ideas?
