Irregular Cycles and Pregnancy- please someone answer!!!!!!!!?

I'm a little curious as to why you are constantly checking your cervix. For what purpose does this serve? Sounds like a good way to irritate it, which can cause problems if you are trying to get preggers as well as cause a nice infection, which could also contradict a pregnancy.
