One of my Sims got married and she's moving in wih her husband but it's taking forever to process....?

This is for the Sims 3!! I'm pretty sure its not the computer cause it's like a year old and the rest of the game has been running fine. Its just taking forever to process that my sim is moving in with her husband. It's been about 25-30 minutes now. Has anyone else had this problem?
