How do i liven my oral presentation up?

I have to give an oral presentation to my university peers on how a certain cuisine has influenced Australian eating habits. It goes for 20 minutes and the lecturer has suggested that we not only talk. Eg. give out handouts, show pictures, powerpoint. Does anyone have any different ideas which will allow for my peers to interact with me and the topic? Please list anything that u may have used or thought about using..
