Did I do the right thing?I need some opinion and advice.?

My friend and his sister and his sister's friends were coming back from downtown Dallas on a train and we came to downtown Plano which is another suburb of Dallas..And while we were waiting at the train station for my mom to come pick us up,a suspicious stranger had came up to us and asked me for a dart-p and I didn't have one so I couldn't give him one..He said that he was Lebanese and I had told him how I am Iranian and so we can relate.And then he asked my friend for one and she gave it to him..And then he started cussing,blaming,and using foul language and profanity with "f" words to me because I didn't give him a bus p and he said all kinds of racial things against middle easterns and Iranians..He had said that Iranians and middle easterns don't help each other out and he kept saying such awful nasty things against me and my heritage..This man happened to be drunk and he was holding a beer and a cigarette in both of his hands..I didn't even say a word to him..It took us all a while to understand what he was saying because he was drunk..Did I do the right thing?..
