Which netbook should I get for college?

I had a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop, but recently I built my own gaming computer, which is very powerful and I have no doubt is good for school. I take notes on Microsoft OneNote though, and I feel like since I have this desktop now, there's no need for this 15" (I know it's still small) laptop to lug around, especially if I am carrying a lot of books. The battery power is also getting lower and lower each month, it has a 9-cell battery, and I am now only getting about 2 hrs. of battery time before I have to charge. Since I have this desktop already, and I only need something to take to cl and take notes on or something, should I sell this Dell laptop on Ebay, and just get a cheap netbook or what do you guys suggest? Also what's a good, reliable netbook? Thanks!
