What should I put on my buffet?

I was given an antique buffet and want to know what to put on it to make it stand out,it is dark wood,long,my dinning room colors are burgundy/gold (valences) and chair cushions have burgundy,gr green and crayon blue in them? I have family photos in dark frames hanging above it,need to keep frames there,not much wall space. Thanks in advance,Robin
