Is this dead branch safe for my lizard now?

I put boiled water in a cat litter box, then put the branch in (only half could be submerged at a time, so every other 20 min or so I flipped it until the water was hot/warm) then I put it in the oven for about 5 minutes on 350. It's a pretty thick branch.
